Washington Weight-Distance Tax
No weight-distance or highway-use tax here — Washington has never levied one. You still owe IFTA fuel tax, IRP apportioned registration, and, at 55,000 lb and up, the federal 2290 HVUT (IRS Form 2290), the same shared floor as every mainland state. Washington's diesel tax is paid at the pump and settled through your IFTA return; there's no separate per-mile credential or return to file.

IFTA and registration still apply
Every state, including Washington, still reaches you through the IFTA fuel tax (reconciled by the fuel you burn) and IRP apportioned registration (your plate). The only states that add a per-mile weight-distance or highway-use tax on top are Kentucky, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Connecticut.
