Washington Truck Lane Restrictions
Washington holds trucks to the right by statute, statewide (RCW 46.61.100). Any vehicle over 10,000 lb must use the right-hand lane on a road with two or more lanes each way, moving left only to pass, merge, or turn. And on a limited-access freeway with three or more lanes each way, a truck over 10,000 lb or anything towing a trailer is barred from the far-left lane. No sign needed - WSP enforces it.
