Pennsylvania Weight-Distance Tax

No weight-distance or highway-use tax in Pennsylvania. Don't let the name fool you: Pennsylvania's Motor Carriers Road Tax is just its IFTA fuel tax, not a separate per-mile charge. You still owe that IFTA fuel tax quarterly, IRP apportioned plates, and at 55,000 lb and up the federal 2290 HVUT (IRS Form 2290). No KYU-style number or HUT decal to buy before you enter. Only KY, NM, NY, OR, and CT levy a real weight-distance tax.
