Missouri Weight-Distance Tax
Missouri has no state weight-distance or highway-use tax. Only five states levy one (Kentucky, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Connecticut), and Missouri is not among them. You still owe IFTA fuel tax and IRP apportioned registration through MoDOT Motor Carrier Services, plus the federal Form 2290 HVUT at 55,000 lb and up, same as every state. There is no extra per-mile permit to carry when you cross into Missouri.

IFTA and registration still apply
Every state, including Missouri, still reaches you through the IFTA fuel tax (reconciled by the fuel you burn) and IRP apportioned registration (your plate). The only states that add a per-mile weight-distance or highway-use tax on top are Kentucky, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Connecticut.
