Minnesota Weight-Distance Tax

No weight-distance or highway-use tax in Minnesota. No state mileage credential and no separate per-mile return. You still owe the shared floor: IFTA fuel tax filed quarterly, an IRP apportioned plate, and, at 55,000 lb and up, the federal 2290 HVUT (IRS Form 2290) with a stamped Schedule 1 to renew that plate. Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services (DPS) administers IRP and IFTA. No tax here doesn't mean tax-free.
