The two-axle truck restriction dates to Act 1054 of 2007 and is confirmed by ArDOT signage on six-lane interstates. The general left-lane rule now in 27-51-301 was rewritten by Act 1090 of 2021 to cover all vehicles, so the current statute text reads general only. Aggregators (FindLaw) still cite 27-51-301(b)&(c) for the truck rule; the exact codified subsection is inconsistent. Verify posted segments with ArDOT.
