Who writes this site
The people who write the blog posts and the interstate and mountain pass guides on Trucker Route. Each profile lists every page its author wrote, with the day its text last changed.
- 01 Dmitriy K. Driver and writer Dmitriy drives long haul, including a stretch on a car hauler. He writes about the gear and services drivers actually use on the road, from weigh station bypass to what hauling cars pays and what the job asks of you.
- 02 Irina S. Dispatch and routes editor Irina works as a dispatcher on runs across the US and Canada. She plans cross-border loads and prepares the paperwork for them. On Trucker Route she writes about border crossings, interstates, and the tunnels and passes with hazmat and height limits. The goal is that a driver knows what is ahead before the load leaves the dock.
- 03 Robert M. Safety and compliance editor Robert works in trucking safety and compliance for small fleets: DOT audits, driver qualification files, IFTA and IRP reporting. On Trucker Route he writes about speed limits, permits and the rules that change at every state line. The point is to tell you about a rule before it turns into a fine.

How we work
How a page gets checked, what the dates on it mean and how we handle a mistake are on the editorial policy page. Every correction to a published fact is listed, with its date, under corrections.
If you know a topic drivers need covered, or want to write about one yourself, see write for us.
