Kansas Move-Over Law

Kansas covers everybody now. Since 2025 you move over or slow down for any stopped vehicle showing hazards, flares, cones, or triangles, not just emergency and tow trucks. Get into a non-adjacent lane if there's room and it's safe; otherwise slow down and pass with care. A violation runs $75 (K.S.A. 8-15,116).

What is the move-over law in Kansas?
