Colorado Move-Over Law

Colorado now covers every stopped vehicle with its hazards on, not just responders and tow trucks (CRS 42-4-705). Move over a lane, or slow to at least 20 under the limit if you can't. A violation is a Class 2 misdemeanor traffic offense, $150 to $300 and 4 points. Hurt someone and it jumps to a Class 1 misdemeanor with jail; cause a death and it is a felony.
