Arizona Truck Idling Law
Arizona has no single statewide limit. State law (ARS 11-876) makes Maricopa County, metro Phoenix, set its own rule, and under County Ordinance P-21 a diesel truck over 14,000 pounds may not idle more than 5 minutes, with fines of $100 first and $300 after. Outside Maricopa County there is no enforced time limit.
