Outpost Expands to 30+ Facilities with 5 New Locations
Key Details Truck parking and fleet terminal provider Outpost has expanded its network with five new locations across the Northeast and California. The company opened its first northeastern U.S. facility in Newark, New Jersey, while adding four more properties in Miami and California as part of a strategic investment in EV Realty, a commercial fleet charging infrastructure developer. Newark Location Specifics The Newark facility at 90 Kingsland Ave in Clifton, New Jersey spans 7.1 acres and includes a 9,667-square-foot maintenance facility plus office space. The location sits just 8 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel and 13 miles from Port Newark Container Terminal, making it strategically positioned for East Coast operations. West Coast Expansion Outpost added three California sites in Stockton, Livermore, and Torrance, all positioned near major transportation corridors and ports. The Miami property, a 17-acre facility near Miami International Airport and PortMiami, rounds out the expansion in a key logistics hub. Why It Matters Outpost CEO Trent Cameron emphasized that trucking lacks unified infrastructure compared to other freight modes. This expansion positions Outpost as a nationwide network addressing fleet needs today while building infrastructure for electric vehicle adoption tomorrow. The company now operates over 30 facilities and has doubled its capital to $1 billion.
