Tennessee Driver Safe After Family Member Fires Multiple Shots at Semi

What Happened The truck driver called police after hearing someone striking his cab door and witnessing his family member pointing a firearm at him from outside the vehicle. The suspect, identified as Gilberto Tejero-Gonzalez, fired several shots before officers arrived on scene and discovered multiple spent shell casings and projectile damage. Why It Matters The driver remained inside his truck during the incident and escaped without injury. Tejero-Gonzalez faces serious charges including attempted first-degree murder, unlawful firearm possession by a felon, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
