R.J. Corman's Broyles Takes ASLRRA Leadership Role
Key Details Justin Broyles, president and CEO of R.J. Corman, has been named chairman of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) board of directors. He was formally installed during the ASLRRA Annual Conference in Minneapolis on April 14. Broyles succeeds Matt Walsh, who completed a full three-year term. Why It Matters The ASLRRA represents the interests of short line and regional railroads in legislative and regulatory matters. Broyles brings extensive experience, having served on the board since 2020. His leadership will guide advocacy efforts on issues affecting member railroads. Additional Leadership Changes Kristen Bevil, general counsel and chief legal officer at Pinsly Railroad, was appointed vice chair. Bevil has been a board member since 2019. ASLRRA President Chuck Baker praised the incoming leadership team and acknowledged Walsh's contributions during his tenure.
