Mack Expands EV Charging Network with Two New Infrastructure Partners
Key Details Mack Trucks has doubled its battery-electric infrastructure support by adding ABM and Lane Valente Industries to its program alongside existing partners InCharge Energy and Heliox. The expansion was announced May 4 at the 2026 Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Las Vegas. These providers offer complete turnkey solutions including site assessment, engineering, permitting, utility coordination, equipment procurement, installation, and maintenance. Why It Matters Charging infrastructure remains a major barrier to commercial EV fleet adoption. By expanding its provider network, Mack is helping customers overcome deployment challenges while focusing on their core operations. The move supports fleets operating Mack's MD Electric (Class 6-7) and LR Electric (refuse truck) models. Provider Credentials ABM's eMobility team has installed over 30,000 EV charging ports nationwide. Lane Valente Industries brings 15+ years of EV charging infrastructure experience and has deployed more than 20,000 charging ports across the US and Canada. Both companies provide comprehensive fleet electrification services. Broader Context Mack previously launched ElectriFi Subscription, a usage-based leasing option for the MD Electric, in October 2023. The company also plans to offer an electric Pioneer over-the-road tractor, announced at the 2025 Advanced Clean Transportation Expo. These initiatives reflect Volvo Group's strategy to expand its electric vehicle market share.
