Goodyear Targets ‘Super-Regional’ Sweet Spot with New Steer Tire

Goodyear is preparing to roll out a new steer tire designed to bridge the gap between regional and linehaul for trucking fleets. At TMC, Goodyear showcased an addition to its portfolio that addresses a need among super-regional fleets. As trucking fleet duty cycles continue to blur the lines between traditional regional and linehaul operations, Goodyear is preparing to roll out a new steer tire designed specifically for what it calls the growing “super-regional” segment. At the Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting in Nashville, Heavy Duty Trucking stopped by the Goodyear booth for a preview of its upcoming Endurance SRS (Super Regional Steer) tire, a product aimed at fleets whose operations don’t fit neatly into traditional tire categories.
