ATI Pilots Secure 4-Year Deal With 22% Pay Boost for Amazon Cargo Fleet
Key Details Air Transport International pilots have reached a tentative labor agreement after more than five years of negotiations. The four-year contract delivers approximately $114 million in value for ATI's 550 pilots, with compensation increases of nearly 22% over the deal's duration. Pay Structure Pilots will see an 11% raise in year one, followed by additional increases through the contract period. The agreement includes a ratification bonus, higher per diem payments, and special compensation for instructor pilots. Retirement contributions jump from 8% to 14% at signing, rising to 15% in year two, with potential 1% annual bonuses tied to performance metrics. Quality of Life Improvements The deal significantly restructures vacation and scheduling practices, giving pilots more predictable time off and better work-life balance. These changes address longstanding concerns among ATI's home-based pilot workforce, which operates Boeing 767 cargo aircraft for Amazon's air logistics network. Next Steps Rank-and-file pilots will vote on the tentative agreement starting March 18, with voting closing March 31. If ratified, the contract takes effect April 1. ATSG, ATI's parent company, stated the agreement supports operational stability and Amazon partnership reliability.
